- 1½ cups sliced dill pickles
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup masa de harina
- Some 
Oil in the deep fryer!
- 2½ tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- Now, pay close attention as this is what you want them to look like if you get it right!
- Get to work on the pickles!
- Drain the pickle slices on to paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.
- Combine the eggs and milk in a bowl.
- Coat all the pickles with with egg and milk wash.
- Now combine cornmeal and masa de harina.
- Then move the pickles to the seasoned cornmeal, shake off any excess.
- Now you should have your deep frier oil fired up to 350 degrees F.
- Deep fry those pickles in batches until they appear golden brown.
- This usually takes about 3 minutes, depending on your deep fryer.
- Drain well on paper towels before serving with spicy dipping sauce!
